Happy Friday! I have Spring on the brain, and so I can’t get images of pretty florals out of my head. Spring florals were hot on the runway, and now they’re hot for the home as well. Check out some of the new spring home decor I’m loving this week:
1.OBSESSED with this beautiful floral rug from Anthropologie! Must have.
2. Featured in Pier1’s spring sneak peek, this adorable hanging chair. Love. Love. Love.
3. Romantic Floral Scarf Duvet from Urban Outfitters.
4. Imm Living Adorable Shed Hunting Deer Wall Hook from Pure Home.
5. Anthropologie has lots of bright floral pillows to liven up your sofa.
6. Even more from my fav store, I must add some pretty flower plates to my china cabinet!
This weekend Sydney and I will be working on some DIY Valentines, but for now I wanted to share some cute finds from Etsy!
I Love this adorable robot card from HappyDappyBits:
These Love Heart in a Jar Hand-made cards by FancifulChaos are not only cute, but the little ones can help make them as well!
And if you know someone who’s a whiskey fan, this card from Westmama is for him/her.
Have a wonderful weekend! And, don’t forget to vote, it just takes one little click!
Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a great week. Today I am making my Christmas gift list, and thinking of some creative diy ideas. While I do that, I wanted to share a few great ones I came across this week. Enjoy!

Christmas ideas are already popping up everywhere. I swear it happens earlier every year, I won’t be surprised if we start seeing Christmas decorations in June next year! Anyways, since I am a blogger now, I do need to start thinking about the holidays sooner than later. So, as I get started on some fun ideas for our house this year, I wanted to share some great advent calendars I came across this week. Enjoy!
I love this simple blackboard, paper bag, and clothes pin idea from Lovely Things. It’s simply beautiful!
Today I am going to unleash my inner nerd and share some fantastic finds, all inspired by one of my all time favorite movies… Labyrinth. I actually dressed up as Jareth for Halloween a few years ago, and was reminissing this morning, thinking I must do it again sometime! Then I came across this ADORABLE plush goblin on etsy. Love.
I love Nate Berkus! I love Target! Put the two together, and I just may end up one broke mama! I so cannot wait to to hit my local Target store for the debut of Nate Berkus’s Collection on Oct. 21st! (sorry for the excessive use of exclamation points, I’m a little excited)
So, I know Stella & Dot has been around for awhile, but now that I have a fashionista cousin who is a stylist, I have finally gotten around to checking out their jewelry. I can’t believe it took me so long! I am super loving the Renegade Cluster Bracelet. I have been wanting to try the spike trend, and this is the perfect to sport it while still being delicate and sophisticated.
I’m also really excited about some recent finds, which will be available in my etsy shop later this afternoon!
Chatelaine has some genius ideas for making over simple wardrobes. I think it’s a great way to add some bright colors and patterns to a room! After seeing this post, I found myself looking around the apartment trying to figure out where I can squeeze in an another piece of furniture… Continue reading
Happy Friday everyone! We are so looking forward to a relaxing weekend at home. We finally don’t have any plans to go out of town for awhile, and boy does it feel good. Time to get somethings done around the house, and enjoy the great city we live in!
While we do that, here are a few things I wanted to share:
These Spiced Pear Lollipops from Vintage Confections sound super yummy and perfect for fall! They also have fun Halloween options, some of which include creepy crawlies and even blood!
Happy Friday! I hope everyone has some fun plans for the weekend! We are off to a wedding, so I better get packing. While I do that, here are a couple things I wanted to share this week:
I picked up this rug from Ikea the other day. Love it! Affordable and well designed. A gray rug with white stripes will never go out of style. (I realize it says it’s black and white, but looks more like a dark gray in person.)
Woohoo! It’s Friday! Do you have any fun plans for this weekend? We have a lot of work to get done over here, but are excited about our last min decision to check out some shows at Lollapalooza! We are taking Sydney this year, so it will be a totally different experience for us. I must say I am really looking forward to checking out Kidzapalooza and watching Syd have fun with music, dancing, and other activities! While we get ready for a weekend of music, here are a couple great diy projects I loved and wanted to share: Continue reading

This crafty suitcase TUTORIAL FROM MOUSEHOUSE is not only cute for kids, but I want one too! Previously I made a dog bed out of a vintage suitcase, but now I’m on the hunt for a new one so I can get my sewing supplies organized.
This past weekend my sister brought Syd some TEMP TATTOOS FROM TATTLY, LOVE them. I appreciate anything and everything well designed, and that’s exactly what these are. Plus, they’re fun for both kids and adults!
These gold and white painted mason jars via THE BEAUTY DEPARTMENT are simply beautiful. I could see these used in several rooms around the house. It’s time to get organized!
Happy Friday! I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. Here are a few things I saw this week and wanted to share with you:
This nautical vase diy from www.julieblanner.com is a sophisticated, easy to make project. The perfect addition to your home or an excellent house warming gift!
Three cheers for Friday! It’s been a good week and I came across some great sites I wanted to share.
The first one is a site with printable vintage paper dolls. Sydney will just adore these, and I’m thinking of cutting them out and incorporating either magnets or felt and creating a paper doll board for her. Click here to get your Besty McCall printables!
I also came across the blog of a very talented and crafty mom who makes adorable plush toys. I love all her designs! Check her out at http://sweetfructose.wordpress.com, and click on Plush!
Have a great weekend! Don’t forget, next week I will be posting about our experience with our first BabbaCo box, and more information on how you can win one!
Happy Friday everyone! I am finishing up a few things for Sydney’s birthday party this weekend, and she is getting so excited! I can’t wait to see her face once she sees everything decorated and all set up, that moment makes all the hard work totally worth it.
Oh man, that two day room makeover really took it out of me. I am soooo glad it’s the weekend! It has been such a busy week, that I haven’t had my usual browsing time… but I did see a couple cool ideas this week that I would like to share with you. Enjoy and have a fabulous weekend!
I love pretty much everything from the gals over at A Beautiful Mess, and this week I’m really digging their diy frosted glass jars. Super cute easy way to update a reused jar, and they’re even dishwasher safe! I have gotta try this one. Continue reading

One of my favorite shops in LA is Flock Shop. They have great clothes, jewelry, artwork, and one of kind pieces. While checking out their site this week I spotted these adorable Krokeshi Crocheted Kokeshi Dolls by Emi M. They also carry a cute mini version.
Happy Friday! I hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!
Speaking of which, I start off today’s post with a yummy recipe I saw on I Am Baker. It is from a couple years ago, but what a great idea for a festive Memorial Day breakfast!
