I can’t believe I hadn’t thought of this before today! While cleaning out some cabinets, I came across a few bottles of scented oil. Remember those votive candle oil burners that were really popular awhile back? Well, we haven’t used one in years, but apparently held onto the oils. It was a perfect find since our hallway plugin was empty!

I just had to remove the empty oil cartridge, pull off the caps, and dump in the oil.

Then replace the caps…

And plug it back in.

Now, I’m thinking I should start making my own custom scents using essential oils…. I can have some fun with this, especially during the holidays!
