Good morning! Many of you probably already know that I’m always trying to come up with creative ways to get Syd to eat and enjoy her veggies. Well this weekend I came up with a way to get her excited about eating raw veggies, including salad. We had tons of fun making spring rolls!
I filled the table with fun plates and bowls of carrots, rice, salad, chicken, and boiled eggs.
Then, I let Syd go to town building and rolling her own spring rolls. (with just a little help)
And the best part…. She enjoyed eating them, salad veggies and all!
I made two peanut free sauces for us. See the recipe below.
Peanut Free Sauce:
2 Tbsp rice vinegar
2 Tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp raw honey
2 tsp Sunbutter
1 Tbsp hot water
chili garlic paste, add to desired spiciness (I only added this to my sauce)

I love when you post about yummy ways to eat veggies! I’m not afraid to admit they’re genius tips to get me, at 30 years old, to eat, and want to eat, mine. 🙂 Thank you!
you can come over for build-your-own-springrolls dinner anytime 😉
Yummy! So where do you buy the wrapping material?
I found them in the ethnic food aisle of our local grocery store. You just soak them in warm water for about 15 sec and they soften up and are ready to go!
