I am a little behind on some things today, like this blog post, as I have been running around like a crazy women getting supplies for Sydney’s Alice in Wonderland birthday party this weekend! While I try and get organized and put together some decorations, I will stick with the party theme and share with you these cute mustache pops I made as favors for the baby shower of one of my dearest friends.
You need the mustache molds, I bought two kinds: one by Wilton and one by SweetMolds. They both worked out great, and I am glad I bought a couple of each, making these pops can be time consuming. Then I bought Wilton candy melts, in white, yellow, dark chocolate, and milk chocolate. And lastly you need the lollipop sticks. Now just follow the directions on the candy melts and the molds. I will have to admit I was very intimidated when I first got all the supplies laid out… but once I got started I was relieved and realized making these pops is quite easy!
To package them, I put a couple into clear bags, taped with yellow polkadot washi tape, and finished off with an ‘it’s a boy’ flag.
Now, it’s time to make some red roses and hearts for the birthday party!
