If you remember last week’s Favorite Things Post, I shared some great Moroccan style accent pillows from ABC Home. I loved them, and wanted to try my own version using felt. Sydney’s room can’t have enough color, so I made this bright pink, yellow, and cyan version for her sofa. It works perfectly in her room! I chose to use a sewing machine, but a no sew version could be done using fabric glue to carefully adhere the felt cutouts to basic throw pillows. Here is how I made it:

First I cutout the felt shapes.

Next, pin and sew the felt to the general pillow fabric.

Now, turn the pillow inside out, and sew around edges. Don’t forget to leave an opening for filling.

Turn the pillow right side out and admire your beautiful design.

To finish it  up, stuff and close the pillow.
