Doing Flips for Cartwheel (plus a chance to win $1000 at Target!)

I’ve been meaning to check out the Target Cartwheel app for some time now, and I’m glad I finally gave it a go this past weekend. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical that it’d actually save me time and money on the things I need, but I was pleasantly surprised and saved on far more than I originally expected. I didn’t open the app until I was already in the store, so it was a little slow going at first. But, once I nabbed a sales clerk and got the low down, I was ready to shop away!Target CartwheelI started off browsing “All Categories”, which can be a bit overwhelming. And so, I’d recommend checking out this feature during your morning coffee, walk, lazy moment in bed, whatever! Just do it before hitting the Target floor. The app has over 700 offers that can be used towards in-store purchases. I found most to be in the grocery section, but there was a little something for everyone. (As you may expect, I was most interested in the home furnishing and craft sections.)Target CartwheelMy favorite feature? The barcode scanner. Hands down.
Each barcode generated by Cartwheel is unique to the guest and holds all of the offers on their Cartwheel list. Each guest starts with 10 spots on their list. More spots are earned when badges are awarded. Basically, the more you use it and save… the more you save! (These Target peeps are pretty smart) I started scanning everything that was on my shopping list, and I have to admit… I got a little giddy. Everytime I found an item with added savings, it felt like Christmas morning all over again! Well… not exactly, but it was pretty darn exciting. Sydney even got in on the fun :) Target CartwheelAnd when it’s time to checkout, all you have to do is have your phone out, and the app scanned upon checkout. Can it get any easier than that?

Target CartwheelI would definitely recommend giving the app a try, but be careful… chances are you’ll be hooked just like I am! Now, how can you win $1,000 Target GiftCard®!? Just share your mommy knowledge, and tell me if you’ve tried the Cartwheel app!
