Last week Sydney and I got messy and had fun with shaving, cream, glitter, and construction paper. Shaving cream can be used for all sorts of fun learning and art with toddlers & preschoolers. We decided to be festive and make some snowmen and snowy scenes. Enjoy!
Sydney really enjoyed making this snowman’s face:
And she made several abstract snowy scenes

Just another addition to your adorable project – you can add white liquid school glue (like Elmer’s) to the shaving cream, give it a good stir, and then the picture/creation won’t flatten or dissolve. It becomes a 3D picture that will last quite a while! I did this with my 2nd grade class and it went over very well!
What a cute idea! I am going to have to try this with my daughter. I think she’ll love it!
Speaking of, this would be a perfect post to share at my Family Activities Christmas Linky party — I hope you’ll come link up! It closes tonight at midnight, so it’s kind of last-minute, but I hope you join in: http://cottagemagpie.com/christmas-linky-parade-family-activities/
