We have an entire loaf of cocktail pumpernickel bread leftover from the birthday party this past weekend, and I didn’t know what to do with it. Then I realized, the cute little slices are perfect for fun kid sized sandwiches!
With Sydney, some days she eats really well, but most are a battle. So, I’ll pretty much try anything to make a meal more exciting for her. When it comes to sandwiches I usually end up using cookie cutters to make fun shapes, but anything small or what she calls ‘a little baby one’ gets her excited to eat as well. She devoured all three sandwiches filled with cheddar, gouda, and kale!
Sometimes I also sneak spinach, shaved carrots, and sliced avocados into her sandwiches and quesadillas. And I have a lunch muffin recipe that’s filled with veggies. Do you have any tricks or recipes to share?

These sandwiches sure look yummy! good idea.
To get us to try new things my parents lied, once they fed us frog legs and told us they were chicken. Yuck! LOL
